Both major political parties have National Committee websites that help the parties:
 
  a) Know what the other party is up to.
  b) Push their individual agendas on foreign countries, and compete to receive foreign funds.
  c) Keep them current on the nation's attitudes on specific issues, allowing them to shift their
  political agendas to keep in step with their constituents.
  d) Inform the media of their agendas without holding regular press conferences.
