Cinnabar eyes on fruit flies?

Are cinnabar eyes a sex linked gene on Drosophila melanogaster? I've heard people saying they are and some saying they are not. Please answer only if you know. Thanks!

Nope, the gene that codes for Cinnabar eyes on Drosophila melanogaster is located on chromosome 2R.
