If you work in a lab (pharmaceutical company - highest paid field you can go into) right after you get a BS in chem, you get about 50-60k per year.

Chemical engineers may get way more. Up to 150 grand and even more but there is a big variation there. Some get as little as 50. Depends what college you graduate from, what classes you took, how good you did in those classes, etc.
