(-2x + 1)² = (sqrt(2 - x))²
4x² - 4x + 1 = 2 - x
0 = -4x² + 3x + 1
Then factor the right and solve.
1 and -1/4
You can plug them in.

Hello

First you would square both sides to get 4x^2-4x+1=2-x
Move everything to one side to get 4x^2-3x+1=0
Factor to get (2x-1)(2x-1) = 0

Solve this to find the solution x = .5

Hope this helps

(-2x+1)^2=sqrt(2-x)^2

4x^2-4x+1=2-x
4x^2-3x-1=0
(4x+1)(x-1)=0
x=-1/4 or 1

hi frn,
do squaring both sides ,
then u will get
4(xsq)-4x+1=2-x
4(xsq)-1=4x-x
4(xsq)-1=3x
4(xsq)-3x=1
x(4x-3)=1

so either x=1
or 4x-3=1
4x=3+1
4x=4
x=4/4
x=1

finally answer is x = 1.

where x=alphabet x
and sq=square

i hope u got what u want
bye c u again
