These are the definitions for both of these words, BUT I do not undersatnd it. Can u explain it more clearly?
Allele: 1 half of a gene. Either membrane of a pair of genes that determines a single trait.
Homozygous: Both alleles in plants are the same.

your body has specific genes for each characteristic you have--your hair color, skin color, eye color, blood type, etc. each gene is made of 2 alleles--1 from your mom and 1 from your dad. say for example your mom  your dad have brown hair. Brown is a dominant allele, and you will receive 2 identical alleles (brown and brown). these are called homozygous alleles and guarantee that you will have brown hair. similarly, if your parents both have blonde hair, they will pass down two blond alleles to you, guaranteeing that you will have blonde hair. both are examples of homozygous alleles. makes sense? (:
