Here's a similar question:

How many calories are required to raise the temperature of 5 grams of water from 10oC to 15oC?

Answer:

The change in temperature is 5 degrees and the mass is 5 grams. Multiply both of these terms times the specific heat of water so that the units of degrees and grams both cancel out.
