I don't understand what the given percentages mean in this question:

A closed container at 40 oC contains a mixture consisting of 80 mole% hexane and 20% hexane (this is the overall composition in the container).

So, do these percentages represent amounts in the vapor phase? liquid phase? or is one in the vapor phase and one in the liquid phase??

There seems to be a mistake in the question. Hexane and hexane??

At atmospheric pressure hexane will be a liquid at 155 degrees F or 68 degs C. I am not sure what the two components are but I assume the other is heptane. If that is the case it is heavier than hexane and will be a liquid as well.
