When I first looked I thought it may have been A....this is because cellulose is polysaccharides......but that couldn't be it because the body wouldn't have converted anything to that........I think he's right
C is the answer, all the proteins and nutrient are removed by the time it gets there

polysaccharides would remain because our systems can't digest cellulose, at that point its roughage
