When evaluating her fetal monitor tracing, name 2 patterns that may be seen in women with preeclampsia that would be of concern.  Describe what each pattern may indicate.

Thus far, I have come up with late decelerations and variable decelerations, but I'm not sure of how to describe what each pattern may indicate

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hmmm

According to one source provided below, significantly higher level of fetal cells in maternal cell circulation could be seen in women with preeclampsia.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but it seems like a legit point.

Late decels indicate uteroplacental insufficiency. Variable decels are caused by cord compression. You also don't want to see fetal tachycardia. Some say bradycardia is bad, but it depends on the mother's positioning, and whether or not she is on her back, compression the inferior vena cava. Also, if you see fetal bradycardia, baby could be sleeping in utero.
