How are oceanic ridges different from oceanic rises?
 
  a) Ridges only occur in the Atlantic Ocean while rises only occur in the Pacific Ocean.
  b) Oceanic ridges spread quickly and produce vast amounts of rock while oceanic rises spread slowly and accumulate steeply.
