How do a-amylase and b-amylase differ in their functions?
 A) They do not differ, they are two different enzymes which perform the same function.
  B) a-amylase hydrolyzes a(1  6 ) glycosidic bonds, but b-amylase hydrolyzes b(1  4 ) glycosidic bonds.
  C) a-amylase hydrolyzes a(1  6 ) glycosidic bonds at in an orderly way, but b-amylase hydrolyzes a(1  4 ) glycosidic bonds at random.
  D) a-amylase hydrolyzes a(1  4 ) glycosidic bonds at random, but b-amylase hydrolyzes a(1  4 ) glycosidic bonds in an orderly way.
