The earliest start time (ES) is the earliest time at which an activity may start and still satisfy all precedence requirements. ES = MaxEF of all immediate predecessors. The latest start time is the latest time at which an activity may start and still satisfy both precedence requirements and the overall project completion time. LS = LF - Activity time.
