In embryo cloning, an embryo is divided into separate masses. Both of the masses can go on and form organisms. All the organisms are identical but they are different from their parents because new individuals are formed at fertilization. In adult cloning, a nucleus from an adult cell is paced into an enucleated egg. The egg is triggered to develop. The organism produced is genetically identical to the adult from which the cell was obtained.
