Is the term Darwinism applied to ancient evolution when single cellular life became multicellular and such and such?? Is there a more a specific sub-description for this kind of evolution - evolution down to the cellular level?

Thanks

Yeah, I can see how that definition fits, thanks! Might have to just use Darwinism for my purposes though as it is a more familiar term for non-science majors who I am writing my paper for.

The concept of descent with modification, or evolution, has a great deal of evidence in its support. Indicate the major types of evidence.
