I am majoring in Chemistry and I am planning on becoming a teacher, but I realize there are lots of other job opportunities for a major in Chemistry. I know that if I can't get a job in my area right away I would want to keep my options open. Any ideas of what some jobs could be? just list please no sarcastic remarks
I just started college a year ago and I've only recently decided to get my degree in chemistry education. I just want to make sure I will be able to find a job when I graduate. Thanks!

You really should have looked this up a long time ago  haha

Anyway i would go to monster.com or any online job website. Search for a job around your area that has your degree for a requirement. It's really that easy.

As a chem major you would be able to work in any lab (pharmacy, manufacturing, oil and gas, paints). You can also work in a chem lab in school or teach chemistry...your gpa must be very high though. You can combine it with bio and expand your horizons to genetics/marine/agri/forensic businesses etc.
