What does an increase in the concentration of NADPH in a leaf indicate about the physiology of the plant?

NADPH is a product of the Citric Acid Cycle of photosynthesis. A higher concentration would mean the plant is undergoing a lot of it, thus it can be assumed that it is doing something that requires energy (growing, etc).
