Cyanide (CN) is a highly toxic mitochrondrial poison. It binds to a protein in complex IV of the electron transport chain and prevents it from accepting electrons. Assuming you have a limitless supply of glucose, please describe (BRIEFLY!!) what happens to the following proteins (or enzyme activities) when
cyanide is added to cells. At the time of cyanide addition, the cellular levels of ATP and NADH are high.

Phosphofructokinase activity



Pyruvate dehydrogenase activity
