Gauss

He made a number of contributions in many, many fields, including: probability, statistics, numerical analysis, electromagnetic theory, and image theory.  He also taught a number of great scientists and mathematicians, including: Bessel, Riemann, Kirchhoff, Dirichlet, and others.

I'm not too familiar with Computer Scientists, but my vote would go towards von Neumann or Alan Turing, both of whom helped to establish the field.
