Ans: C
Feedback:
Because much of our communication is nonverbal, the nurse can provide reassurance and comfort without speaking. A smile and a gentle touch will go a long way toward comforting those who do not understand the nurse's spoken language. An interpreter may not be necessary and the nurse should not walk away. Asking a question in a language a client does not understand would only be more upsetting.
