All of the following are true about sex development and brain differentiation EXCEPT:
 
  a. Sexual differentiation of the brain occurs prior to sexual differentiation of the genitals.
   b. Male brains signal continuous release of hormones.
  c. Female brains signal release of hormones in a cyclical pattern.
  d. Hormones influence development of the brain both in the uterus and after birth.
