. Chocolate milk has been a choice for many athletes, as it is a good source of protein, carbohydrates, and lipids. Suppose you were to conduct nutrient testing on a sample of chocolate milk. Describe:
a) the tests you would perform and the reagents you would use. .
b) the results you would expect to find.

Please help me asap if you can because I have to hand it in soon and I've been trying to figure it out for the past 2 hours and it's driving me nuts!!!

A) Carbohydrates

monosaccharides - Bendicts test- Reagent - Bendict sollution( Cu(ii) sollution)
Polysaccharides- lugols test - reagent- lugols reagent( iodine sollution)

Lipids- Sudan red test -reagent - sudan red dye ( a fat solluble dye)

Proteins- Biuret taste- reagent-Biuret reagent (solution of KOH and CuSO4 and rochelle salt)

B)Bendict test-the solution color will change from blue to pink\orange red
lugols test-The solution color will change from yellowish brown to dark purple

Sudan Red test- the lipid content will turn into red.
Biuret taste-the solution colour will change from Blue to pink
