Transform plate boundaries are places where two plates slide past each other. What would happen to the transform boundary if the direction of plate motion changed such that the two plates were pushed towards each other?

  a) The transform boundary would stop plate motion from changing direction.
  b) The transform boundary would turn into a convergent boundary.
  c) The transform boundary would turn into a divergent
  boundary.
  d) New oceanic crust would be produced at the transform boundary.
  e) The directions of plate motions are fixed, so the transform boundary would not change.
