Phenytoin is an antiseizure medication used to treat digoxin-induced dysrhythmias. Because di-goxin-induced dysrhythmias can be caused by hypokalemia, it is appropriate to evaluate the se-rum electrolyte levels. Amiodarone, diltiazem, and quinidine increase digoxin levels.
