A Correct: These should be avoided because of the increased risk for bleeding.
B Incorrect: Thrombocytopenia does not increase the risk of infection.
C Incorrect: Although a possible intervention, this more pertains to decreased tissue perfusion.
D Incorrect: There are not premedications to prevent a decrease in platelets.
