Ask a question about American history AFTER the Civil War.

Ask a question about something that does not make sense to you or you do not know the answer to. Do NOT ask something obscure or pointless such as “Whose name is on the signpost at X location?” Avoid date questions.

Before you post try looking up the answer yourself and if it is easy to find and commonly agreed to – ask a different question.

Take some time with this.

Make sure you are very precise with your question. Do not use any pronouns. Explain what you mean and do not assume anything. Make sure you have an actual question in the form of a question.
