d. It is important that the dental radiographer possess a working knowledge of radiographic theory and techniques to produce diagnostic-quality radiographs. However, each patient presents with unique characteristics, some of which may require that the dental radiographer have the knowledge and skills to adapt these ideal procedures to best suit the circumstances.
