In U.S. v. Yang, Yang was accused of bribing a company employee to buy confidential information. The appeals court held that:
 a. the intent to steal trade secrets was all that was necessary to convict Yang b. more than intent to steal trade secrets was necessary to convict Yang
  c. Yang did not understand U.S. laws and so could not be convicted
