Values are the principles, or norms, that drive ethical and moral behaviours. Values are made up of righteousness, virtue, just behaviour, and the beliefs, that differentiates bad and good.

Values play an important role in shaping any Individual's behaviour. If a person has strong ethics, high morale, and knows what is good, he is considered to be a person of values. These values make him empathetic, to see good in others, responsible, and accountable to his conducts. With high values, an individual give importance to others, stay away from conflicts or anything that name him stressed out.

Personal attitudes can affect workplace behaviour. If an employee has a positive attitude, he will bring good vibes, and try to complete his work with more effectiveness. Whereas, an employee with negative attitude may become arrogant, and can impact other's performance.

Human resources managers need to monitor behaviours and attitudes of the employees, and it is part of their responsibility. Because, they are the authorised persons, who can take decisions on the employees performance and behaviour, whether to retain them or to remove them form the job.

Managers need to pay attention to negative attitudes and behaviours that are against the organisational policy, and must take disciplinary actions to keep a healthy environment.
