When you swallow, how is the bolus (ball of food) moved from the back of the mouth to your stomach?
 
  a. contraction of pharyngeal and esophageal muscles.
  b. contraction of laryngeal muscles to abduct the vocal folds.
  c. contraction of laryngeal muscles to lower the larynx.
  d. contraction of the epiglottis.
