The patient who is terminally ill asks the nurse what is meant by a medical power of attorney. The nurse’s best response would be:
1.   “A document that allows another person to manage your financial affairs.”
2.   “A document that allows the physician to make any medical decisions that need to be made for you.”
3.   “It means you give up all rights to make medical decisions for yourself.”
4.   “It allows you to select someone to make health care decisions for you only if you are unable to do so for yourself.”

This is for my medical nursing class
