The nurse caring for a patient with a Foley catheter will include implementations for the nursing diagnosis risk for infection, such as (select all that apply):
1.   keep bag below the level of the bed.
2.   provide perineal care twice a day.
3.   coil tubing on the bed.
4.   using standard precautions when handling urine and tubing.
5.   keep the drainage system closed.

All options are those that would be appropriate in the care of a Foley catheter.
