The older adult patient is at risk for constipation after sustaining a pelvic fracture. The nutritional suggestion that the nurse would make is:
1.   calcium supplements to help prevent fractures in older adults.
2.   vitamins B, C, and D, which are essential for bone healing.
3.   while immobilized, drink at least 2 to 3 L/day.
4.   overeating may cause cramping.
