The nursing staff is working on nursing diagnoses for a patient following a simple mastectomy. A diagnosis that should take priority is:
1.   Knowledge deficit.
2.   Impaired physical mobility.
3.   Disturbed body image.
4.   Sexual dysfunction.

Knowledge deficit is the primary diagnosis in this case. In the implementations for instruction and education, many of the other concerns can be addressed.
