Positivism is about approaching an experience as a challenge, one you will gladly meet. Phrases like I can't or they didn't are not in a positive student's vocabulary. They look for the good intentions of their faculty. They interpret feedback as constructive and intended to be helpful. They find interest in getting to know their peer group. They approach collaborative learning projects with enthusiasm. When confronted with real or perceived problems, they identify the silver lining and do something meaningful with it.
