1.DNA a)promoter is said to be located towards 5' end of the structural gene b)the strand that has the polarity5'to 3' act as a coding strandc)the strand that has a polarity 3'to 5' acts a template and reffered as template strand d)The DNA sequence coding for trna or rrna molecule also defined as gene.however by defining a cistron as a segment of dna coding for polypeptide, the stuctural gene in transcription can be said to be monocistronic(mostly in eukaryotes)or polycistronic(mostly in bacteria or prokaryotes). In eukaryotes the monocistronic structural genes have interrupted coding sequences-the genes in eukaryotes are split.the coding sequences are expreesed sequences defined as EXONS.Exons are said to be those sequences that appear in mature or proccesed rna.the exons are interrupted by INTRONS.introns or intervening sequences do not appear in matured or processed RNA.the split gane arrangement further complicates the defnition of gene in terms of DNA segment.e)+1nucleotide is located in between 3'to 5' template strand and 5''CAP nucleotidef)aA protein is imagined as a line, the left end represented by the first amino acid .the first amino acid is also called as N-terminal amino acidg)in protein right end represented as last amino acid.the last aminoacid is called the C-terminal amino acid.
