light dependent reaction involves the electron transport chain. it utilizes solar energy to produce NADPH, which will be used in the light independent reaction.

photolysis is part of the light dependent reaction, in which a water molecule is lysed to yield 2 H+ and a O- to replenish the electron in the electron transport chain.

light independent reaction comes after the light dependent reaction. it utilizes CO2, NADPH (produced from light dependent reaction), and ATP convert ribulose biphosphate into glucose.

i hope that helps!

Ah, this is all related to plants because plants carry out photosynthesis to make glucose, their main source of fuel!
