This question gets at another relationship that will affect students' academic self-concept, this time their relationship with their academic institution and community. A good discussion might ensue here, depending on the degree of diversity represented within students' previous schools/communities. They are likely to be part of a diverse community at college. Having been shaped by their prior schooling experiences, students should consider whether their shape will need to morph to fit a new environment.
