If the pump rate is analogous to the heart rate,what do you think will happen to the rate when you increase the stroke volume.I know the pump rate will decrease.Is this to maintain cardiac output or to maintain preload.Any help would be very much appreciated.Thank you.

There's a question in the manual that asks: Explain the effect that the change in blood vessel length had on flow rate. How well did the results compare with your prediction? And the answer to it is: The fluid flow rate did decrease as the flow tube length increased. This is analogous to an increase in blood vessel length that would result in a decrease in fluid flow rate. Not sure if this is what it is you're looking for, but let me know.
