I wonder whether I might ask a question re. biological statistics .If you had data such as the effect of concentration (6 concs)of an inhibitor such as lead nitrate on liver catalase activity (gas pressure of oxygen released in kPa). Assuming you have 7 repeats at each conc, could you compare the 7 results (rates of gas pressure) of one conc with another conc using the t-test to see if the means are significantly different? And could you then go onto compare all 6 concs using ANOVA? (I realise that a correlation statistic such as pearson’s would be more  appropriate in some ways…)
