What does Kant mean when he says that wrongdoers have a right to be punished?
   a.   Even wrongdoers have an inalienable right to life.
   b.   Because they are ends-in-themselves, only wrongdoers themselves, not the state, have the right to determine the nature of their punishment.
   c.   Punishing a wrongdoer is an affirmation of their moral dignity.
   d.   The Categorical Imperative explicitly states “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a life for a life.”
