IMC is all about making sure that the media messages from a company are consistent across mediums. For example, it's important that the TV ads mesh well with the newspaper ads. The message should be consistent across traditional media (TV, radio) as well as promotions, personal selling, product design, and pricing.
IMC promotes positive brand outcomes, such as high awareness, loyalty, and sales.

First, you need to know how much the advertising cost is. Let's say it is 440,000 . Next, you find out the show's rating points. Let's say the rating is 15.6 . That means 17.5 million TVs tuned into the show the ad was on (15.6  112,000,000). If the product contribution to advertising cost is 0.50, then you need 880,000 purchases (found by 440,000/0.50). Finally, you need to find out what percentage of viewers who saw the ad need to make a purchase. That would be 5 in this case (880,000/17.5 million). In this case, there is a good chance it will be profitable to run the ad.
