The oxygen, O2, and hydrogen sulfide, H2S, molecules are about the same size and they also have about the same degree of polarity. This helps to explain why
A) the body survives when breathing H2S just about as well as it does when breathing O2.
B) H2S is such a smelly compound while O2 has no smell.
C) the Earth's ancient atmosphere was once abundant with H2S.
D) cells absorb H2S just as easily as they absorb O2.
