ANS: During the beginning of the school year it is important to have a planned daily schedule to allow for structure. Planned centers provide the best focus as children begin their day. As you move through the school year children need less attention upon arrival and caregivers can spend more time with parents at the start of the day. Children can move directly into open ended learning centers.
