2. A cell has 8 chromosome in G1 of interphase.
-Draw a picture of this cell with its chromosomes at the following stages (0.5 each).
-Indicate how many DNA molecules are present at each stage (0.5 each).

a. Metaphase of mitosis
b. Anaphase of mitosis
c. Anaphase II of meiosis
d. Prophase I of meiosis

Attachment 1 is (a)

Attachment 3 is (c) (Rather than 2 chromosomes splitting on each side, make it four on each side)

During prophase I of meiosis, recomination of the chromosomes occur. So draw 16 chromosomes (or 8 pairs.......  kind of like this   ><  ). Colour the > half red and half blue and colour the < half red and half blue:

1st pair: ><
2nd rair: ><
3rd: ><
4th: ><
5th: ><
6th: ><
7th: ><
8th: ><
