8^3x+1 = 64^2x

You can do this without natural log (ln).

\(8^{3x+1}=\left(8^2\right)^{2x}\)

\(8^{3x+1}=8^{4x}\)

Bases are the same, concentrate on exponents ONLY

\(3x+1=4x\)

\(3x-4x=-1\)

\(x=1\)

Hope that helps Smiling Face with Open Mouth
