Hi all,

I am trying to model a pressurized artery in FEA software. Specifically cerebral arteries. I have heard that 8mmHg is an average pressure for these. Within the software I need to specify an applied inner wall pressure. 8mmHg works out as roughly 1066Pa.... This does not however yield realistic results. Is merely converting the mmHg of an artery to Pa wrong?? Does it represent hoop stress??
Thanks for any help.
