Examples :

1

Even, Odd, Perfect Square, Prime numbers etc to complete the Housie.

2

Any other Geometrical shape than Rectangle can be evaluated for constructing Housie tickets?

In North America, we have BINGO! Same idea, numbers are called between 1 and 75 (I think), and you win by either getting the full card, corners, a line or diagonal line, or a square around the numbers. In more technical BINGO variations, they look for the following patterns once you yell BINGO:

Thanks.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_types_of_numbers

Housie will be completed depending upon the Number types.

Example :

1,4,9,16,25,36,49,64,81,100,121,144,169,196,225,256 etc are perfect squares.

Those who completes Top row, Middle row, Bottom row & Full Housie who gets only Perfect Squares numbers are the winners.

Thanks.

Can this be a variation?

The Housie ticket is a 3 * 9 matrix.
Three rows & Nine columns.

Can  Housie tickets be constructed 4 * 10,  3 * 7, 5 * 9 etc dimensions ?

Absolutely, there's nothing stopping the makers of this game from diversifying by changing the dimension. Although I must ask, how will people of Indian perceive the change? Are they happy with the way it currently is?

Almost all gaming cards sold in the North America are rectangular, for example:

Partly because they're easier to handle and store in one's wallet. Also, form always needs to fit function. A circular, triangular, or >4 sided card wouldn't accomplish that.
