Can Machine learning algorithms be applied to Architecture field?

Example : New York City in Year 1920 i.e. 100 years back.

Every 10 years from 1920 till 2020,the modernization of structures which took place in New York City with images as input dataset is feed to the algorithm for predicting the future Architecture structures for Buildings, Offices, Parks, Museums etc with a modern architecture look & feel in New York City.

I mean, Can Machine learning have applications in Architecture field?

You want to use machine learning to predict the architecture of the future... The inspiration for art comes from many different aspects, include culture, heritage, nature, etc. Depending on the architect, the design within a city can differ dramatically. No, I don't think machines can predict the future.

In the 50's, vehicle designers believed today's cars would look like this:

But do you see what I mean, that predicting tomorrow's design cannot be done using computer learning because evolution of ideas and beliefs is unpredictable.
