whatconclusionscanyoudrawabou ttheeffectofBotoxonthe movement of neurotransmitter A through the entire secretory pathway. What is the ultimate effect of Botox on the secretion of neurotransmitter A?

Using stars she shows that the radiolabeled proteins are located in secretory vesicles. In the control neurons at 24 hours, she did NOT see any radiolabeled proteins located within the cell. Based on this result, name TWO different proteins you think Botox might target to produce the results described here. (in Photo the stars are still in the nerve terminal)

The questions sounds incomplete. Anyway, botulinum toxin from the anaerobic bacillus Clostridium botulinum decreases the release of acetylcholine from neuronal vesicles. It binds selectively to a receptor on the presynaptic membrane of cholinergic nerve terminals and is endocytosed inside synaptic vesicles responsible for re-uptake of neurotransmitter.
