When the atria contract, blood is pumped into ventricles. When ventricles contract blood is pumped into the aorta and pulmonary artery.

The ventricular contraction and atrial relaxation occurs simultaneously.

When ventricular relaxation occurs, does atrial contraction occur at the same time?

Left ventricle contracts first, then the right shortly there after (almost simultaneously, but not quite). Contraction of right, pushes the blood to the lungs; the left pushes to everywhere else, away from the heart. Once they've contracted, another signal is sent to your sinoatrial node to start it over again. The ventricles must finish their contraction before this begins, otherwise an irregular heartbeat/cycle will form

Thanks. Doubt clarified. If the ventricular relaxation and atrial contraction occur at the same time, the ventricle wont be able to relax and hence will cause problem

For sure, causing an irregular heartbeat. An electrocardiogram would be able to pick up that irregularity
